I am touched by the way I see people go about their lives, they know nothing about themselves and as a result go through alot in the hands of those who knows little or more about themselves.
It touches me when I see people being oppressed as a result of self-ignorance, but I believe my article will open the eyes of many to know about themselves.
Remember that the greatest discovery is about yourself.
Here are some discoveries I made about you;
1. You are never made a failure: People’s ignorance about themselves has made lots of them think they’re failures, that they could never succeed, but this is a big fat lie. Looking at the Bible 1st Chronicles 4:10, here in this passage of the scripture, Jabez was a man said to be of sorrow, failure and pain but then he realized that he was never made a failure so he cried to the creator and asked Him to make him a success, this is not just a cry of the lips but that of the heart. A lot of people have been made to believe that they’re born failures, this knowledge of being a born failure has been imputed into their hearts by others and sometimes by their own human instincts which comes up as a result of the seed planted by others. Ben Carson was made to believe that he was a born failure, but with the help of his mom he realized he was never made a failure and that was how he escaped the ignorance of himself and today he’s a success.
2. You’re never useless: Some individuals has made others think they’re useless, people need to be cautious of the words that comes out of them, parents need to be cautious of the words that they use on their children and others, most people who see themselves as useless do not just start seeing themselves as useless, it’s the words which is like a seed down in their lives that brings up this mentality. But the truth is that nobody is useless, everyone is useful in their own way, for example; I can’t sweep doesn’t mean I’m useless, there are lots of things I could do; I could fetch water, wash the dishes, run errands etc. Thomas Edison was said to be useless but then he realized he was never useless and made the light bulb.
Nobody is ever useless, avoid using such words on others! Stop thinking you’re useless! We need to quit being perssimistic about other people because no one is useless!
3. You’re unique: Uniqueness is something everyone needs to know they are, there’s no other you in terms of how you speak, live, act, work etc, you are unique in your own way, don’t allow anyone make you think or feel otherwise because you are unique, there’s no other you besides you so why kill yourself over trying to be exactly like someone else or trying to compare yourself with someone else.
4. There’s something you can do that others can’t: A lot of people are lost, in the sense that they don’t know they have a unique ability different from everyone else neither do they know the ability, but the reality is that everyone has something they can do in their own unique way than others. Some years back, after I discovered there was something each individual could do uniquely and differently from other people, I went in search of my own unique ability and I thank God that I found it and today lots are being blessed by it. There’s something you can do, others can’t. You need to find that unique ability, so that you won’t be living a life of self-ignorance.
5. Inside of you are talents and or gifts which can make a way for you: Every human being are not made empty, they’re made up of talents and or giftings, and until it is discovered, known, mastered and used, that human would be living a life of self-ignorance. Your talents and or gifts are what actually makes you unique, it can pave way for you, if you are not ignorant of it, the scripture said that the gift of a man makes him rich and added no sorrow, you need to know your talents and or gifts in other not to be murdered by self-ignorance. Many successful people live on their gifts and talents, the musicians you know, the authors you know etc are all living on their talents and or gifts, find yours today and fulfill your living.
